Listen to the weather
Nature is once again playing whack a mole with these storms. Today will start sunny and end with rain and storms. This makes for a humid day as well, so try to cool off with some lemonade or iced tea. Or both, if you have a taste for Arnold Palmers, like I do.
It is also a good day to read a book. I have been reading through the Nancy Drew series, but not everyone is a fan of mystery. Luckily, the library has something for everyone though.
“Daily rounds of hit-and-miss storms continue for the foreseeable future,” Albuquerque National Weather Service Meteorologist Randall Herdgert said.
Hopefully soon, we get a full day of something, whether it is sun or rain.
Here is the breakdown of today’s weather:
Today calls for a 20-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms between 3 p.m. and midnight. It will be partly cloudy, with a high around 92 and a low around 68. Northeast wind 5 to 15 mph becoming southwest in the morning and evening.
