The voter turnout for the Rio Rancho school board election Tuesday is doing well so far, according to County Clerk Ann Brady Romero.
“It is going very well with the flow of traffic and running smoothly,” she said.
While voting numbers won’t be clear until the end of the day, Romero says, she thinks turnout is good so far.
One voter, Joel Davis, says there was practically no line when he went to vote at Rio Rancho Middle School. “I was number six in line, and we got through the line quickly,” Davis added.
Total turnout numbers remain to be seen though as there are several hours left for voters to cast their ballots.
Those who haven’t voted yet have some time as the centers close at 7 p.m. tonight.
