The New Mexico State Bar’s Legal Services and Programs Committee has announced the sixth annual Breaking Good Video Contest for the 2021-22 school year.

Each year, students are invited to create a short video highlighting the importance of civil legal services in their community, based around a certain theme. This year, students will be asked to create an 80-second video on providing legal services.

The contest aims to provide an opportunity for New Mexico high school students to show their creative and artistic talents while learning about civil legal services available to their communities.

This year’s first-place team will win $1,000. Videos will be judged by a panel of distinguished lawyers, judges and local media representatives.

Winners will be presented at a ceremony in the fall. Final details will be determined.
