The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is activating its SWAT team to help with a barricaded suspect.
The suspect, Tommy Trujillo, has been the subject of law enforcement pursuit already this morning for committing multiple crimes.
“Trujillo has barricaded inside his vehicle and is refusing to come out. Please continue to avoid the area of Candelaria between 10th and 7th St.,” BCSO says in its Twitter account.
Deputies were in pursuit of Trujillo earlier and are attempting to take him into custody near 724 Candelaria. “This man is armed and dangerous, and we ask the media & public to avoid the area as we work to take him into custody,” BCSO said.
