Listen to the weather

This week was a hot one. But we are getting more rain this weekend. Today will start out under clear skies, but tomorrow afternoon thunderstorms are expected until Sunday.

Get the outdoor activities done now before it gets too stormy folks.

“Overall, the trend remains persistent with slow and erratic storm motions expected which is typical of monsoon season,” Albuquerque National Weather Service Meteorologist Randall Herdgert said.

Here’s the weekend look ahead:

  • Today will be hot, sunny and clear with a high of 95 and a low of 68.
  • Tomorrow will be clear until after 1 p.m., when the chance of thunderstorms and rain is 20 percent. The high will be 94 and the low will be 68.
  • Sunday will be clear all day, then at 7 p.m. the chance of storms sits at 20 percent. The high will be 95 and the low will be 69.

Puzzles and board games make time go by faster during a storm. My personal favorite is Trivial Pursuit. What’s your’s?

Have a nice weekend and see you Monday.
