Much like yesterday, we are in triple digit territory today. It will definitely be a day to stay inside and drink something cold with ice. My favorite is a home made Orange Julius (see recipe below).
NWS warns that heat stroke and heat exhaustion are possible in heat like this.
“There’s just no nice way to say it. It’s going to be brutally hot for a lot of places today,” Albuquerque National Weather Service Meteorologist Randall Herdgert said.

Orange Julius
Blend ingredients in blender:
- 6 oz frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1-2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup ice cubes
