Loaded with snow, Ski Santa Fe will open on Thanksgiving Day.

The ski area has received 10 inches of fresh snow and cold temperatures have allowed snow-making crews to work around the clock.

The slopes will have a 20-inch base of natural and manmade snow.

The Super Chief Quad will service Upper Midland, Midland, and Lower Midland. Beginner skiing will be accessed via the Easy Street Double Chair and Pine Flats Conveyor.

“We anticipate Davey Lane, Lower Broadway and Sierra Catwalk will also be open,” according to the announcement from Ski Santa Fe.

Snowmaking efforts will continue and additional terrain will open as conditions allow.

All facilities will be open including: La Casa Lodge, La Casa Café, Ski Santa Fe Sports Shop, Ski & Snowboard Rental Shop, and Baz Coffee Bar. Totemoff’s Bar & Grill will be open to service guests at mid-mountain.

Lift tickets and passes are now available for purchase online. Tickets for Thanksgiving and opening weekend will be available at weekday rates.
