WESST named Sara Lynn Osusky as Rio Rancho regional program coordinator this year. Osusky works out of the Rio Rancho Women’s Business Center.

Osusky, who has more than 15 years of experience in retail, customer service, print and digital marketing, and project management, worked for Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance from 2015 to 2020. She was appointed as Chair of the Ambassador Committee with AREA in 2019.

After New Mexico was hit by COVID-19, Osusky worked at two stores in Albuquerque’s Old Town neighborhood. She worked at Lillie’s Handmade Soaps later in 2020 and at Blue Moon Marketplace in 2021.

Osusky’s no stranger to the Albuquerque metro area, including the West Side. She graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2013, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a focus in studio arts. Prior to UNM, she graduated from Cibola High School. After graduating from UNM, Osusky did outside sales working at FASTSIGNS in 2013 and 2014.

WESST provides training, consulting and lending services for entrepreneurs and startups. WESST has locations in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Farmington, Las Cruces, Hobbs and Roswell.

The Rio Rancho Women’s Business Center operates from the same building as the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce, located at 4201 Crestview Drive next to Target.
