Leadership Sandoval will host Sandoval County Tourism Day Thursday.

The all-day event will be a bus tour to some of the must-see spots in Sandoval County beginning at 7:45 a.m. and concluding with a 4 p.m. dinner at Turtle Mountain North.

Leadership Sandoval is a non-profit group within the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce that is committed to enhancing the quality of life in Sandoval County by improving their knowledge of the community and increasing their leadership effectiveness. Sheryl Baca, Mike Chelius, Kat Fragua, Yvette Gurule, Lara Harrison, Gordon Moore, Shannon Muller and Seth Muller will lead the tour.

The tour kicks off at 7:45 a.m. at Turtle Mountain North in Enchanted Hills. From there the bus will go to Valle Caldera National Preserve in Jemez Springs then to Soda Dam. At 11:20 a.m., the bus will go to the San Jose de los Jemez Mission then stop at Los Ojos Restaurant for lunch. After lunch the group will head to the Pueblo of Jemez Visitor Center for a tour and guided hike. The tour will close with dinner at Turtle Mountain North.
