Sandoval County, NM – Sandoval County is holding an emergency meeting to discuss ongoing actions to aid with the Cerro Pelado Fire, according to a press release Monday morning.
On Friday, April 22nd, 2022, Sandoval County was hit with high winds. These winds caused property damage and contributed to the escalation of the Cerro Pelado wildfire.
This emergency meeting will cover the County’s response to this emergency and allow the Sandoval County Commission to consider declaring a formal emergency in light of recent weather conditions.
