Due to a scheduling conflict, the Sandoval County Board of County Commissioners meeting that was to previously set for Feb. 14  has been cancelled.

The Sandoval County Board of County Commissioners instead will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. on the third floor of the
Sandoval County Administrative building, 1500 Idalia Road, Building D., Bernalillo.

A county official said the change in schedule was because several Sandoval County officials, including multiple commissioners, will be attending the National Association of Counties (NACo) Annual Conference & Expo in Washington, D.C., Feb. 10-13.

NACo is the largest meeting of elected and appointed county officials from across the country. Participants from counties of all sizes come together to shape NACo’s federal policy agenda, share proven practices and strengthen knowledge networks to help improve residents’ lives and the efficiency of county government.

The Feb. 7 meeting is open to the public, and any member of the public may view the special meeting on the county’s website, sandovalcountynm.gov. Here is the agenda for the meeting.
