RuPaul’s Drag Race WERQ THE WORLD Tour will make a stop in Rio Rancho on July 13.

The Tour is “the largest drag show on earth” with shows in more than 100 cities across the United States, Canada, Australia, Asia, Europe and Mexico. Set in a dystopian future, the stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race must choose between the real world and the artificial world they have come to know. The 2023 show delivers an all-new Sci-Fi production specially designed for large venues and arenas.

The show begins at 8 p.m. at the Rio Rancho Events Center.

“We’ve really elevated the show this year with a cohesive story line that weaves theater into large-scale concert-style performance,” said Brandon Voss, the show’s producer. “It’s a multi-million dollar production that rivals the largest pop stars in the world.”
