The Rio Rancho Police Department is still looking for suspects involved in a reported house robbery.

Last Thursday night, officers responded to a call of a robbery in progress in the area of King Boulevard and Wilpett Road.

A KOB 4 story posted on its website a doorbell camera showing RRPD officers handcuffing the unidentified homeowner where the suspected robbery took place.

The homeowner was not arrested, City of Rio Rancho spokeswoman Annemarie Garcia told the Observer.

“Officers handcuffed everyone present for safety and scene security not knowing who the victims were, and who were (the) suspects,” she said.

As for the suspects, they were seen leaving in a dark colored sedan, while another suspect fled on foot. Officers established a perimeter of the area and used drones and dogs to try to locate that suspect, RRPD Lt. Jacquelynn Reedy said.

No suspects have been identified as of Tuesday morning and the investigation is ongoing.
