The recent roller coaster continues when it comes to New Mexico’s latest COVID-19 case and hospitalization counts.
The state Department of Health reported Wednesday that the current number of people hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19 is down to 47, with five of those patients being on ventilators.
NMDOH also reported a teeny uptick in new COVID-19 cases (193, with a test positivity rate of about 2.5 percent) on Wednesday, as well as seven new COVID-19 deaths.
