
Jayme Espinoza
Sandoval County appointed Jayme Espinoza as its director of community services on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
“We are fortunate to have Jayme Espinoza lead this expansive effort as her extensive career in health care provides both expertise and experience to further develop and implement our programming,” County Manager Wayne Johnson said.
Espinoza moved to Rio Rancho from Santa Fe in 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business sdministration with a minor in human resources from the University of Phoenix. Espinoza is also a member of MGMA (Medical Group Management Association) and worked most recently for Presbyterian Medical Services as the clinic administrator for three Rio Rancho sites.
Her earlier experience was with the Santa Fe County Human Resources/Risk Management and UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center.
Previously, Ann Ryan held the director of community services position in Sandoval County. She took on the position in 2018.
Most recently, Ryan saw Sandoval County win the Golden Chile Award in September 2022 and started a coat drive for seniors in December as well.
According to the announcement, Espinoza is in charge of several divisions of its community services department including Animal Care Services, Community Health Services, Prevention & Intervention Services, and Senior Services.
