Rio Rancho Republican legislators are encouraging the public to give input and ask questions at an upcoming town hall meeting.

State Sen. Craig Brandt will be joined by state Reps. Jason Harper, Joshua Hernandez and Alan Martinez to hear from the public ahead of the upcoming 60-day legislative session. The town hall meeting is at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, in the Rio Rancho Public Schools board room, 500 Laser Road.
Also, community leaders who are asking for public dollars in the form of capital outlay funding for brick-and-mortar projects are expected to give presentations.
“We are excited to resume our public town hall meetings to hear directly from the community,” Brandt said. “Rio Rancho, this is your chance to make your voice heard. You elected us to represent our community in Santa Fe. Now is your opportunity to be part of the process.”
