The Albuquerque National Weather Service issued red flag warnings for today and tomorrow.
National Weather Service says, “Hot, dry and unstable conditions will prevail across the area through at least Saturday. Gusty westerly to southwesterly winds are expected each afternoon and evening bringing several hours of critical fire weather conditions to much of central and west central New Mexico. Any fires that develop over the next few days will have the potential for significant growth in receptive fuel beds.”
It will be sunny, with a high near 88 and a low around 56. Breezy, with a southwest wind 5 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon.
