Listen to the weather

There is a Red Flag warning for much of today and a wind advisory later. Tomorrow a fire watch is in store.

According to Albuquerque National Weather Service, critical fire weather conditions continue today through Thursday due to strong southwest to northwest winds, very low humidity and an unstable atmosphere. As many as 10 consecutive hours of single digit humidity values expected today over eastern New Mexico and the Middle Rio Grande Valley with poor overnight humidity recovery tonight over all but the Northeast Plains.

Areas of blowing dust after 3pm. It will be sunny, with a high near 72 and a low around 37. It will also be windy, with a southwest wind 15 to 25 mph increasing to 25 to 35 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.
Have a nice day.
