The Sandoval County Commission has a short agenda, including sheriff’s office award presentations, for its regular meeting Thursday.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. on the third floor of the county administration building, 1500 Idalia Road, Building D, Bernalillo.
In addition to the sheriff’s office awards, the agenda includes a proclamation of March as Women’s History Month in the county.
As part of the consent agenda, commissioners will vote on new rates for renting El Zocalo Event Center so that mid-week rentals have new costs and active-duty military members, firefighters, law enforcement officers and county employees receive discounted rates. Consent agenda items are voted on without discussion unless a commissioner asks to have it moved to the regular agenda for discussion.
Also, commissioners are set to vote on a resolution designating polling places for statewide elections this year and next, a contract for information technology work and the reclassification of an engineering position in the Planning and Zoning Department.
Under COVID-19-related public-health orders, members of the public can attend the meeting in person, up to 75 percent of the commission chambers capacity. They can also watch the livestream or recording of the meeting at sandovalcountynm.gov and submit public comment here.
