The estimated Powerball jackpot for the Saturday, Nov. draw has been increased to $1.6 billion.
This is the largest jackpot in Powerball’s 30-year history, according to the announcement of the latest numbers.
New Mexico Lottery CEO David Barden said, “It is a very exciting time for our players. But, please remember to play responsibly. It only takes one ticket for a chance to win.”
If the jackpot is hit in New Mexico, it will be the sixth time the Powerball jackpot has been won in New Mexico. It would also be the largest jackpot won in New Mexico.
New Mexico Lottery players have until 8 p.m. MT on Saturday to buy tickets for the Nov. 5 Powerball draw.
