Rio Rancho outlasted Cleveland 1-0 in a grueling, double-overtime defensive battle Wednesday at RRHS to open District 1-5A girls soccer action.

Rio Rancho’s Shelby Moore scored the game-winning goal with just over six minutes left in the second overtime period.
