Elementary schools in the Rio Rancho Public School district marked the last day of school with a variety of activities.

At Ernest Stapleton Elementary, students and their families as well as staff members — mostly clad in white — were blasted with clouds of dust during the school’s color run. One student commented that the dust “tasted good and bad at the same time.”
