
Paul Di Paola
After 39 years in banking, Paul Di Paola, U.S. Bank New Mexico region president, announced he will retire on June 3.
He led 24 branches and more than 200 employees throughout New Mexico and was named regional president in 2011.
“Paul is an excellent leader and has developed a first-class team in New Mexico,” said Liesl Schmidt, region executive for U.S. Bank. “Throughout his career, he has been an invaluable asset to the bank and his peers, clients, and community.”
Di Paolo earned a business administration degree from Eastern New Mexico University and is a graduate of the New Mexico School of Banking and Leadership New Mexico. In 2018, he was named as a Leader New Mexico Distinguished Alumnus.
Deeply committed to the community, Di Paola has served on the boards of almost every major business-related organization in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and in other cities across New Mexico. He is a member of the New Mexico Amigos and currently serves as a board member for Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce and Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance. Additionally, he is an Albuquerque Community Foundation Trustee.
