The city of Rio Rancho is hosting its annual Park in the Park Car Show on April 22 at Campus Park by City Hall.

Registration for the car show is happening now at rrnm.gov/activenet. There is a fee to register, but the event is free for spectators.

In the past, the show was put on at Cabezon Park with several participants and viewers. This year, the event will feature music by Steve’s Cruisin’ with the Oldies, and food trucks will be on site.

Show cars must be at least 35 years old, and only those who are registered can participate.

The Park in the Park Car Show is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants are welcome to begin set up at 7 a.m.

All participants registered/postmarked by April 7, 2023, will receive a free T-shirt.
