Craig Wilbur Lewis
It is with great sadness that the family of Craig Wilbur Lewis announces his peaceful passing on Friday, Nov. 29, 2019, at the age of 75 years in Albuquerque, N.M.
A native of Buhl, Idaho, Craig graduated from Buhl High School in 1962. After briefly attending college, Craig served in the U.S. Army prior to beginning a long career as a computer operator at IBM in San Jose, Calif. After retirement from IBM, Craig settled in Rio Rancho, N.M., and enjoyed his retirement.
He is survived by two nephews, Douglas (Kim) of Texas and Eric of Arizona; one niece, Kris of California; and sister-in-law Lynne of Arizona. Craig was preceded in death by his brother, Richard “Dick” in July; his father, Albert Lewis; and mother Harriet Todd Hyde.
Craig will be fondly remembered by family and friends as an intelligent, kind-hearted, eccentric man who enjoyed classic cars, traveling, eclectic collections and playing cards.
