Rio Rancho-based NTx was among 12 New Mexico companies that received money to add more workers through the Job Training Incentive Program, according to a press release from the New Mexico Economic Development Department.
NTx was awarded more than $443,000 through JTIP and will bring in 18 trainees.
JTIP approved about $3.48 million in funding for companies to bring in new workers and grow their operations. That money will allow the companies to hire a combined 183 higher-wage employees and two interns.
JTIP recipients are either science and technology-based companies or have developed innovative manufacturing, per the release.
