New Mexico continues to see its COVID-19 test positivity rate gradually diminish.

The state Department of Health reported 143 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, with a test positivity rate of about 1.7 percent.

As of Wednesday, 84 people are hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19. Ten of those patients are on ventilators.

However, the state also reported 21 new COVID-19 deaths on Wednesday.
