The New Mexico Department of Health reported back-to-back days of 1,100-plus COVID-19 cases.
After reporting 1,100 additional cases on Wednesday, NMDOH reported 1,152 new cases on Thursday.
The test positivity rates for Wednesday and Thursday were about 12.6 percent and about 11 percent, respectively.
As of Thursday, there are 140 people hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19, including 14 patients on ventilators. There were also four new COVID-19 deaths reported Thursday, bumping the total up to 7,866.
