New Mexico saw another jump in COVID-19 hospitalizations, after days of holding steady in the 130 to 140 range.
The state Department of Health reported Tuesday there are 177 people currently hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19, including 19 patients on ventilators.
There 135 people hospitalized in the state for COVID as of Monday.
NMDOH also reported 768 new COVID-19 cases, with a test positivity rate of about 16.9 percent. There were also two new COVID-19 deaths reported on Tuesday.
