COVID-19 hospitalizations in New Mexico continue to gradually diminish, reaching its lowest level in quite some time.
The state Department of Health reported Monday there are 50 people hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19. The last time statewide COVID-19 hospitalizations were that low came on Sept. 16, 2020, when NMDOH reported 59 that day.
As of Monday, six hospitalized COVID-19 patients are on ventilators.
However, the state on Monday also added 329 new COVID-19 cases (with a test positvity rate of about 2.2 percent) and 13 new COVID-19 deaths spanning three days on Monday.
