COVID-19 hospitalizations continue to gradually drop in New Mexico.
The state Department of Health reported there are 102 people hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19 as of Thursday, down 59.5 percent since March 1. There were 252 statewide hospitalizations reported March 1.
However, there are 17 people are on ventilators as of Thursday.
The state also reported 210 new COVID-19 cases (with a test positvity rate of about 2.6 percent) and 17 new COVID-19 deaths on Thursday.
Since the pandemic began in March 2020, New Mexico’s tallied 517,060 cumulative cases and 7,197 cumulative deaths.
