The number of new COVID-19 cases and daily test positivity rates in New Mexico continue to gradually drop.
The state Department of Health reported 88 new cases on Tuesday, with a test positivity rate of about 1.8 percent.
There are 94 people hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19 as of Tuesday, but the number of patients on ventilators is down to six.
The state also reported 15 new COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday, bringing that total to 7,234. Since the start of the pandemic, New Mexico’s accumulated 517,608 COVID-19 cases.
