New Mexico added 544 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, according to a press release from the state Department of Health.
The state’s test positivity rate also continues to drop, to 9.5 percent Wednesday.
Sandoval County added 45 new cases on Wednesday. ZIP code 87124 (southern Rio Rancho) had the state’s third-highest case count, with 20.
However, two of the 30 new deaths were Sandoval County residents.
As of Wednesday, 350 people are hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19.
