The New Mexico Department of Health reported 367 new COVID-19 cases statewide over the weekend, bringing the cumulative statewide total to 515,531.

The state also announced Monday there were 28 new COVID-19 deaths, bringing the total to 7,078.

As of Monday, 108 people are hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19, including 13 people on ventilators. That statewide count of 108 is the lowest since July 23, 2021, when the state reported 106 COVID-19 hospitalizations that day.

Monday marked the first day NMDOH reported daily COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths through its new tableau data dashboard page.
