New Mexico added another 1,412 COVID-19 cases and six COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday, according to a press release from the state Department of Health.
Sandoval County added 101 new cases and one new death.
As of Tuesday, 593 New Mexicans are hospitalized with COVID-19.
Latest COVID vaccine numbers
As of Tuesday, NMDOH reported that 77.5 percent of New Mexicans ages 18 and older have completed their COVID vaccination series — with 42.7 percent of that group receiving their booster dose. As of Monday, 82.6 percent of Sandoval County adults have completed their COVID vaccination series.
60 percent of New Mexico children ages 12-17 have completed their vaccination series, while 26 percent of kids ages 5-11 have completed their vaccination series.
