SANTA FE – If you have a hankering to be in a television show and are willing to drive to Santa Fe, might be a chance to get on at least as an extra.
The television series National Treasure began principal photography in late June in and around Santa Fe. according to a press release from the New Mexico Film Office.
National Treasure is a live-action Disney+ Original series, playing off the National Treasure movie franchise centered on a brilliant and resourceful DREAMer who embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to uncover the truth about her family’s mysterious past and save a lost Pan-American treasure.
The series stars Lisette Olivera, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Zuri Reed, Jordan Rodrigues, Antonio Cipriano, Jake Austin Walker and Lyndon Smith. Jerry Bruckheimer, Cormac and Marianne Wibberley, Jonathan Littman, and KristieAnne Reed executive produce the series alongside Rick Muirragui, who also serves as a writer. Jon Turteltaub is executive producer. Mira Nair is directing and executive producing. The Disney Branded Television series, National Treasure is produced by ABC Signature, part of Disney Television Studios.

The production will employ 152 New Mexico crew and approximately 160 New Mexico background talent.
