Another 13,450 New Mexicans received COVID-19 vaccine doses during the previous week, according to the state Department of Health’s COVID-19 vaccine data dashboard.
As of Tuesday, 84.8 percent of Sandoval County residents have completed their primary vaccination series. Additionally, 82.5 percent of Bernalillo County residents have completed their primary vaccination series.
Statewide, 94.2 percent of residents 65 and older have completed their primary vaccination series as of Tuesday. Of that age group, 74.5 percent have received a booster dose.
Although the rate of children ages 5 to 11 completing their primary vaccination series remains at 32.3 percent, 2,560 kids in that age group have received a booster dose as of Tuesday.
