First the heat and dry weather. Now the rain.
This weekend looks to be a stormy one with high chance of rain and thunderstorms both Saturday and Sunday.
“Monsoon pattern starts this weekend so chances of rain will increase in the coming weeks,” said Jennifer Shoemake, meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in Albuquerque.
It will be a good weekend to stay inside and watch the rain. Maybe turn on a fan as it will most likely be humid.
Here’s what the weather entails:
Saturday has a 40 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms after noon with a high near 90 degrees and a low of 65 degrees.
Sunday will be about the same with a 60 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms all day. The high will be 89 degrees and the low will be 61 degrees.
