A minor traffic delay is expected to occur on Wednesday November 13 at approximately 3:15 pm to 3:30 pm on US 550 as the Capital Christmas Tree passes through the town of Bernalillo.

A press release indicates that law enforcement will be present to escort the transport vehicle and tree so both can pass safely through intersections and construction areas.

The same release indicates that this will create a minor delay in traffic during this time.

Pedestrians and spectators are welcomed to observer the transport vehicle and tree as it passes through, but are cautioned to stay at a safe distance out of the roadway.
