Approximately $589,677.00 will be available for eligible activities meeting one of three National Objectives including benefits to the low and moderate income persons, aid in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight, or to meet other community development needs having a particular urgency because existing conditions pose a serious or immediate threat to the health or welfare of the community and where other financial resources are not available to meet such needs.

Complete copies of the Request for Proposals (Application) packets are available immediately Monday through Friday, between 8:00am and 4:00pm at the City of Rio Rancho Financial Services Department, CDBG Grant Administration Office, located in City Hall at 3200 Civic Center Circle, NE, Suite 300, Rio Rancho, New Mexico. They may also be obtained by email request to Amanda Barricklow at: [email protected] or by calling (505) 896-8766. For hearing impaired individuals, please dial 711. The packet will also be posted on the City of Rio Rancho’s website and will be available for downloading on December 15, 2020.

Proposals must be submitted no later than 5:00pm local time on Friday, January 15, 2021. Proposals may be hand delivered to the Financial Services Department or mailed to the attention of: Amanda Barricklow, CDBG Grant Administrator, Financial Services Department, Suite 300, City Hall, 3200 Civic Center Circle, NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144-4501. Proposals received after 5:00pm Friday, January 15, 2021 will not be considered.
