THE GOVERNING BODY of the CITY of RIO RANCHO, NM, will consider the following matters at its regularly scheduled meeting at 6 pm on Thursday, July 28, 2022:

Text Amendment

The applicant, City of Rio Rancho, requests approval of text amendments to the following Chapters of the Rio Rancho the Rio Rancho Code of Ordinances: 154.19 Residential land use table, 154.20 O-1: Office District, 154.22 NC: Neighborhood Commercial District, 154.24 C-1: Retail Commercial District, 154,25 C-2: Wholesale and Warehousing Commercial District, 154.28 M-1: Industrial and Business Park District, 154.31 MU-A: Mixed Use Activity Center District, 154.32 CBD: Central Business District, 154.33 BP: Business Park District, 154.35 Nonresidential land use table, and 154.70 Accessory buildings, structures and uses, for the purposes of updating incorrect or outdated information and providing clarity by organizing and restructuring existing layouts and definitions.

The applicant, Defined Fitness, Inc., through their agent, Bret Blanchard, requests approval of a Site Plan for a Conditional Use Permit for a temporary sales trailer at the future Defined Fitness location at 1640 NM 528 SE. The property is legally described as HILL, TR 8 of approximately 7.91 acres. This property is zoned SU: Special Use for C-1: Commercial District.

Zone Map Amendment

The applicant, A&A Land, LLC., through their agent, AMREP Southwest, Inc., requests approval of a Zone Map Amendment from R-1: Residential to M-1: Industrial & Business Park at 1140, 1200, and 1220 Lumberman Dr NE. The properties are legally described as Unit 13, Block 86, Lots 6-8 of approximately 6.00 acres. These properties are located in the Del Norte Specific Area Plan.

The meeting is scheduled in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 3200 Civic Center Cir. NE, Rio Rancho, NM. The public is invited to attend in person or virtually at www.rrnm.gov. Materials related to these items are available for viewing in the Development Services Department at City Hall.
