CITY OF RIO RANCHO
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The PLANNING and ZONING BOARD of the CITY of RIO RANCHO, NM will consider the following matters at its regularly scheduled meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022:
Zone Map Amendment
The applicant, New Mexico State Land Office, through their agent, James K. Strozier of Consensus Planning, requests approval of a Zone Map Amendment for 9.3 acres of Paseo Gateway, Tract 3; from SU: Mixed Use to C-1: Commercial Use.
Master Plan Amendment
The applicant, New Mexico State Land Office, through their agent, James K. Strozier of Consensus Planning, requests approval of a Master Plan Amendment to reflect the changes resulting from the concurrently submitted Zone Map Amendment, that would convert 9.3 acres of Paseo Gateway, Tract 3; from SU: Mixed Use to C-1: Commercial Use.
The applicant, Hakes Brothers, requests approval of a Variance to the 15′ rear setback requirement for Unit 20, Block 106, Lot 24; located at 6816 Nacelle Rd NE.
The applicant, Lomas Encantadas Development Company, through their agent, Huitt-Zollars, Inc., request approval for a Preliminary Plat to subdivide 7 acres of R-4: Single-Family Residential lots, legally described as Lomas Encantadas Tract 12 into 58 lots.
Conditional Use Permit
The applicant, Phil Lopez, through his agent, Chuck Wilkins requests approval of a Conditional Use Permit for storage of RV, Boat, and Vehicles on the property legally described as Unit 16, Block 92, Lots 15 and 16.
Zone Map Amendment
The applicant, Martinez and Sons, LLC, through their agent, Modulus Architects & Land Use Planning, Inc., request approval of Zone Map Amendment for Gateway North, Tract C-5A to allow for metal building design within the architectural standards,
The meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 3200 Civic Center Cir. NE, Rio Rancho, NM. The public is invited to attend in person or virtually at www.rrnm.gov. Materials related to these items are available for viewing in the Development Services Department at City Hall.
