Listen to the weather
It’s another day and the heat is still brutal. There might be some rain later, but who are we kidding. If it rains, and that’s a big if, it will only make it humid.
There are fortunately some interesting ways to deal with the heat, though.
For example, some places eat spicy foods to cool off. Believe it or not spicy foods can help you sweat naturally without raising body temperature.
Another way is to put fans facing out of the room instead of in the room. The fan acts like a vacuum and sucks out hot air to displace it somewhere else.
“To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency,” Albuquerque National Weather Service Meteorologist Jennifer Shoemake.
Try not to work too hard, RR.
Here’s the forecast:
Today will be sunny and hot with some scattered showers and thunderstorms before midnight. The high will be around 102, with a low around 70. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Stay cool out there everyone!
