Folklorist and researcher Benjamin Radford

Folklorist and researcher Benjamin Radford will be at the Placitas Community Library on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gracie Lee room to describe his first-hand investigations into some of New Mexico’s most famous and bizarre ghosts.

Radford will distinguish fact from fiction with Albuquerque’s famous KiMo theater, Santa Fe courthouse spirit and the legend of La Llorona.

Benjamin Radford is longtime deputy editor of Skeptical Inquirer science magazine and a Research Fellow with the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, a non-profit educational organization.

Over the past twenty years he has investigated dozens of mysterious and unexplained phenomena including crop circles, ghosts, lake monsters, exorcisms and psychics.

He is author of fifteen books including:  Mysterious New Mexico, Tracking the Chupacabra, and Investigating Ghosts:  The Scientific Search for Spirits.

This presentation is sponsored by the Historical Society of New Mexico.
