Intel announced its annual corporate responsibility report to the public Tuesday.

The Intel New Mexico RISE Report provides a snapshot of how Intel is innovating and investing in New Mexico. Through the RISE strategy, Intel aims to create a more responsible, inclusive and sustainable world, enabled by its technology and the expertise and passion of its employees.

Some highlights of the report include:

  • $400 million in total spending with New Mexico-based organizations in 2022.
  • A $500,000 payment to Sandoval County in accordance with its Industrial Revenue Bond agreement in 2022.
  • $787,359 in property tax paid to Sandoval County in 2022.
  • $155 million in spending in 2022 with New Mexico-based diverse suppliers, including those that are certified women-owned, minority-owned and veteran-owned.
  • Over $200,000 Intel and Intel Foundation contributions to New Mexico public schools since 2018.
  • 100 million gallons of water restored by Intel-funded projects in 2021 (2022 data is not yet available).
  • 555 million gallons of water conserved by the Rio Rancho site in 2021 (2022 data is not yet available).
  • $1.3 million in total charitable contributions to New Mexico-based organizations in 2022.
  • More 200 New Mexico teachers, schools and nonprofits supported by Intel in 2022.

Intel also hired 451 new employees in New Mexico in 2022. Intel aims to meet a yearly goal of 60% New Mexico resident hiring. In 2022, New Mexico hires accounted for 63.4% of the total new hires.
