The Southwest Public Policy Institute has announced a livestream panel discussion on the future of education in New Mexico, featuring state Sen. Craig Brandt, R-Rio Rancho, and Corey DeAngelis, PhD.

The public is invited to watch and ask questions. The discussion is at 10 a.m. Jan. 10 and can be accessed via southwestpolicy.com/nmedu.

The event will cover the challenges and opportunities facing the state’s education system and hear the perspectives of these experts on potential solutions. Brandt will also share details on his landmark school choice bill, which aims to ensure a bright future for New Mexico students.

The panel discussion will be followed by a live question-and-answer session, giving attendees the opportunity to engage with the speakers.

In addition to the event being open to the public, invitations are being sent to over 100,000 parents of students across multiple public school districts in New Mexico, including Albuquerque Public Schools, Rio Rancho Public Schools and Las Cruces Public Schools.
