The FBI and Rio Rancho Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual responsible for the attempted robbery of a credit union Saturday.
About 2:10 p.m., an unknown male entered First Financial Credit Union, 2201 NM 528 SE. The suspect presented a demand note to a teller but left the credit union without money and fled south on foot.

Sex: Male
Race: Hispanic
Age: 20s-30s
Height: Approximately 5 feet, 4 inches
Clothing: Gray mask, gray hooded jacket, dark pants, a tan baseball cap with a logo on the front and black-and-white running shoes.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
