It’s Thanksgiving time, which means it’s time for family, football and, most importantly, food.

That beautiful Thanksgiving dinner doesn’t just magically get to the table.

We asked the students at Shining Stars Preschool how Thanksgiving dinner is made.

Here are some of the responses:

Ms. Stephanie’s and Ms. Kristines’ class

Turkey is the main course! And it is yummy. You get the turkey from a farm. You have to put the food in the oven for 9 hours! The oven temperature should be warm, not cold. Don’t leave it for 9 days, it will get soggy and old. You have to put the turkey on the BBQ for 1 minute at 2 degrees. You don’t eat the bones; the bones go in the trash. You eat carrots, corn, pie, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and watermelon with the turkey. After its ready you put it on the table because we don’t eat at the kitchen counter! Then you eat it! There might be 5 or 100 people at your house, you could even make some for your puppy! You could drink hot lemonade or orange juice. After dinner you eat dessert! You can have pumpkin pie, candy, pink pie, or ice cream! After dinner you can just go play or go to bed!
