Albuquerque National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for Albuquerque and Rio Rancho.
Widespread hot, dry, windy and unstable conditions will return today. Breezy to locally windy conditions combined with several hours of low relative humidity will create critical fire weather conditions in much of central and northern NM.
Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
