Listen to the weather
Fourth of July was luckily pretty clear for the day yesterday. Today will be just the opposite.
Grab an umbrella or stay inside because heavy rain is heading our way this afternoon and night. If rain doesn’t faze you, then by all means run out into it.
“Northern and Eastern New Mexico will be most affected by the rain today, but still be careful out there,” Albuquerque National Weather Service Meteorologist Troy Marshall said.
Here’s what to expect today:
There’s a chance of heavy rain and some wind throughout the day. Most showers will probably occur after noon. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent all day. The high will be close to 90 and the low will be around 66.
